Opals are gemstones with water trapped inside that gives them a translucence and unique color play. The opals here are yellow opal, and Peruvian pink opals and blue opals which are extremely popular. We use only natural opal stones, not doublets, etc. and you will find that some of these stones are heavily included. We especially like the ones that have black matrix. Some of the opals have been tumbled and not sharply faceted.
The opal is the birthstone for the month of October.
*****Note: This page is getting large as we're adding more opal bracelets (and have some more :), so please scroll down; we add new bracelets throughout the page, not just at the top or the bottom.
Blue Opal Bracelets
Adalira
Some of our favorite blue Peruvian opals are in this opal bracelet with two strands - one of gemstones and sterling silver, and one of sterling chain with little charms hanging. The blue Peruvian opals have pretty brownish inclusions that are complemented by the smoky topaz in the bracelet. Sterling silver is from Bali and the Karen Hill Tribes. Opal bracelet closes with a sterling silver toggle clasp.

Undina
The perfect lampwork focal bead was crafted by Robin Weber; it picks up the tones of the blue Peruvian opals in this opal bracelet wonderfully. The lampwork bead is rather flat so that it fits on the wrist nicely and doesn't get bumped by objects. The second strand is one of our favorite sterling chains from the Karen Hill Tribes of Thailand. Opal bracelet closes with a sterling silver toggle clasp.

Jungle Jewels
This opal bracelet has the unusual combination of Peruvian blue opal and rutilated quartz: it's almost like 2 bracelets in one. The rutilated quartz strand has a large faceted slab of rutilated quartz with smaller ovals of it on either side. Faceted opal ovals are between the rutilated quartz ovals. The primarily opal strand is accented with plenty of sterling silver and has a smooth rectangular focal, faceted opal nuggets, and faceted opal ovals. Closure is a sterling toggle.

Well, butter would melt, but these lovely yellow opals won't! These are some of the nicest yellow opals I've ever had in a gorgeous colour and in the shape of coins, rondelles of two different sizes and faceted rectangles. Three tiny lampwork beads pick up the yellow and add a spark of different colour to the bracelet. Lush and rich, this opal bracelet looks like candy! Sterling silver toggle clasp.

Lampwork beads (from the artist at Moose Trail Beads) with their swirls and deep yellow look perfect with the large smooth oblong pillows of yellow opal in this opal bracelet. The opals are mixed with Bali sterling silver fluted beads and special marcasite caps from the Thai Karen Hill Tribes; this bracelet is really more neutral than you would think. This opal bracelet closes with a sterling silver decorated oval toggle clasp.
