Opals are gemstones with water trapped inside that gives them a translucence and unique color play. The opals here are yellow opal, and Peruvian pink opals and blue opals which are extremely popular. We use only natural opal stones, not doublets, etc. and you will find that some of these stones are heavily included. We especially like the ones that have black matrix. Some of the opals have been tumbled and not sharply faceted.
The opal is the birthstone for the month of October.
*****Note: This page is getting large as we're adding more opal bracelets (and have some more :), so please scroll down; we add new bracelets throughout the page, not just at the top or the bottom.
Blue Opal Bracelets
Maria
Yes, these are blue Peruvian opals, some of the nicest ones I've ever had. They are wonderfully translucent and a gorgeous colour - a joy to work with. They do have inclusions, but they are so beautiful that it doesn't matter. This opal bracelet is rather simple, to show off the beauty of the gemstones. One very beautiful, very nice, artist's lampwork beads is a focal; on one side, two little Thai Karen Hill Tribes flower charms dangle. Opal bracelet is all sterling silver.

Trinity
These gorgeous blue Peruvian opals shine in this bracelet. Two wonderful artist's lampwork beads have the same glow as the gemstones and pull together the colours of orange carnelian and blue opal. The faceted carnelian squares are cut on the diagonal for added interest and contrast with the cool, smooth blue Peruvian opals to great effect. The second strand has an opal charm and little carnelian rondelle charms. The crowning touch is one of our favorite sterling toggles with the toggle bar in the hsape of a dragonfly. Opal bracelet is a personal favorite!

Jungle Jewels
This opal bracelet has the unusual combination of Peruvian blue opal and rutilated quartz: it's almost like 2 bracelets in one. The rutilated quartz strand has a large faceted slab of rutilated quartz with smaller ovals of it on either side. Faceted opal ovals are between the rutilated quartz ovals. The primarily opal strand is accented with plenty of sterling silver and has a smooth rectangular focal, faceted opal nuggets, and faceted opal ovals. Closure is a sterling toggle.

Aciano
Blue Peruvian opals are grounded by faceted rectangles of black onyx in this opal bracelet. And the black onyx looks especially pretty since the blue opals have black inclusions running throughout them. Charms of blue opal dangle around the bracelet. A simple sterling toggle clasp is the closure.

Yellow Opal Bracelets
If you are looking for a birthday present for someone with an October birthday, remember that not all women like pink! So if it's an October birthstone you're looking for, think yellow - as in yellow opal!
Cybele
Smooth rondelles of yellow opal curve around to a melon-look bead and a faceted blue aquamarine nugget. A Thai Karen Hill Tribes sterling silver flower hangs between the two elements. A scalloped sterling silver toggle clasp is the closure.

Cluny goes through strands and strands of opals to find those that match in colouring and consistency for her opal bracelets. We think that you will be happy with the result.
