Chalcedony Jewelry - Blue Chalcedony Jewelry
Chalcedony is a sub-species of quartz - a beautiful stone which comes in different colours, but for jewelry blue is probably the most commonly used. Blue chalcedony looks especially pretty with sterling silver or white gold.
We have a pink chalcedony bracelet and a blue chalcedony bracelet on our Gold Bangle Bracelets page.
Glow
These deep yellow chalcedony beads do glow beautifully. To keep the very "gemmy" look of the chalcedony, a minimum of silver was used - only the tiniest sterling ring beads between each nugget and rondelle. A sterling silver toggle clasp is the closure. You'll love the gemstones in this bracelet!

The Allure of Flowers
Lovely aqua chalcedony faceted nuggets form the basis of this necklace that is accented with sterling silver. Deep rosy pink faceted chalcedony buttons act as a foil for the aqua chalcedony and echo the colours of the lampwork beads. Beautiful with a deep pink dress or a cream outfit!

Margarida Dores
Yum, gorgeous blue chalcedony teams up with jewel-like lampwork beads in blue and plenty of sterling silver from both Bali and the Thai Karen Hill Tribes. The special second strand is a wonderful sterling chain from the Hill Tribes complete with chalcedony and sterling silver spiral charms hanging from it. Closure is a sterling silver toggle clasp. Personal favorite!

Flamboyance
Huge flat, faceted slabs of chalcedony give this necklace heft; artist's lampwork beads give it a feminine touch. Very pretty sterling silver beads from Bali are some that you won't see everyday - hand-decorated. The chalcedony ranges from aqua to pale greens and an even paler creamy yellow. Let us know whether you prefer a toggle clasp or another clasp of your choice. Personal favorite!

Sea Breeze Caress
In northern Brazil, about a two-hour drive south of Recife and the quaint Colonial town of Olinda, there is a place called Maragogi. It is in Pernambuco, the place where cashews come from. You can lie on the beach while cool breezes waft over your body and little sand crabs play underneath your lounge chair. There is absolutely nothing to do but relax and let the soft wind play gently with your hair, and look across the sea and think of Africa, so far away, yet once joined to this very beach. In the evening, the beautiful Brazilian women dress for dinner, gemstone necklaces shining against their tanned skin, dangling earrings dripping from their ears.
Chalcedony necklace made with Peruvian aqua chalcedony, smooth nuggets that shine with translucence in the light. They are accented with borosilicate lampwork beads, handmade, with deep swirling colours under a layer of clear glass. A "watch chain" strand hangs from one side of the necklace to other, little flower charms dangling. On the shorter end, three lengths of chain drop down dangling more flowers and a single dragonfly, all in sterling. Closure is an S-clasp from the Thai Karen Hill Tribes, decorated with a sterling sea shell. Imprinted sterling chain and charms are front the Karen Hill Tribes; intricate sterling beads are from Bali.

Aolani
The two strand chalcedony bracelet is heavy on sterling silver; it even has a sterling silver fluted bead with a cabochon chalcedony stone set on each side! The beaded and hand-decorated sterling silver elements are complemented by a second strand of the bracelet which is a Karen Hill Tribes etched chain of large round sterling silver links. The "bumpy" lampwork bead is from Burt Gumeson. A sterling silver twisted toggle clasp is the closure. Good quality chalcedony is a nice, clear blue with almost no inclusions at all. An excellent addition to your collection of chalcedony jewelry!
