In northern Brazil, about a two-hour drive south of Recife and the quaint Colonial town of Olinda, there is a place called Maragogi. It is in Pernambuco, the place where cashews come from. You can lie on the beach while cool breezes waft over your body and little sand crabs play underneath your lounge chair. The lampwork beads from Suzette Celestin feature a taupe colour that isn't seen very often in lampwork. The chalcedony nuggets are a smooth and even aqua. Sterling comes direct to me from Bali, Indonesia. Sturdy sterling toggle clasp.

The beaded and hand-decorated sterling silver elements are complemented by a second strand of the bracelet which is a Karen Hill Tribes etched chain of large round sterling silver links.
