Often the moonstone will have a certain "glow" or chatoyancy or "cat's eye" effect. Moonstone is also considered to be an alternative birthstone for the month of June.

Moonstone bracelet is all peachy and deep gold with vermeil accents, pretty dusky peach faceted moonstone nuggets, and artist's lampwork beads. Two types of lampwork beads enhance the bracelet: one is a square with sterling silver on it, the other three are smaller rondelles. The second strand of this moonstone bracelet features a large moonstone nugget and some of our favorite tiny vermeil beads as well as two large hammered rings at either end.
